Expert Answers about Heartland RV Trail Runner Travel Trailer

  • Could Phoenix Wheel Hub Cover QT655C Fit 2017 Heartland Trailrunner 30USBH
  • If you have a 6 lug wheel on a modern trailer like your 2017 Heartland I can't see you having a different bolt pattern from 6 on 5-1/2 inch. Now that said it does look like you have measured 6 on 5 inch based on your pictures. So what I would recommend is using the 1 inch mark as the starting point instead of the metal lip on the 0 measurement as sometimes that can move and cause measurements to be a little off. The part # QT655C will fit the standard 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern like I...

  • RV Stereo that Can Replace VD 400i in 2011 Heartland
  • I did some research on the VD 400I DVD/stereo system you have and like most RV double din stereos it's a bit smaller than the standard double din sizes you see in vehicles which is why it appears smaller. So the Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM60A that you referenced would be a great and easy replacement solution. I attached an install video and a review video for you to check out as well.

  • Could 4,400 lb Trailer Hub Fit 2017 Heartland Trailrunner 30USBH
  • I don't have a way to verify the axle you have on your 2017 Heartland Trailrunner 30USBH but if you know you have a 4,400 lb capacity axle the hub part # 8-407-5UC3-EZ is a confirmed fit and comes with everything needed to install as far as bearing and seal are concerned. It also comes with new lug nuts. You might need grease though as this is not pre-greased. For that the LMX red grease like part # L11390 is a great option as it's waterproof and the most heavy duty grease out there.

  • Troubleshooting An RV Fridge That's Leaking Water From The Bottom
  • If your refrigerator is leaking water from the bottom then you likely have a frozen or clogged drain tube. You'll need to disconnect the power to the fridge and open the doors to let it defrost. From there you'll need to get to the back of the fridge to get access to the drain line. There should most likely be a vent on the outside of the trailer that you can pop off to get access to the back of the fridge to find the drain line. You'll want to put some towels out to soak up any water that...

  • Best Size Replacement RV Stereo for Touch Audio VD300WR
  • In regards to size, the Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM60A is the best replacement option we have for the Touch Audio VD300WR. The Jensen unit has mounting dimensions of 9" wide x 6" tall x 5-1/2" deep so you may need to expand/fill your existing cutout slightly for the new unit but this is the one we offer that most closely matches what you have currently.

  • Determining A Compatible Trailer Weight For A 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel And Parts Needed To Safely Tow
  • You'll first need to ensure that the trailer you're buying falls within the towing capacity of your 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel. This can typically be found in your owner's manual or by subtracting the vehicle weight (GVWR) (including your passengers and anything else loaded in it) from your vehicle's Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR). This will give you the max loaded trailer weight that your vehicle can tow. For example, if your GCWR is 13,000lbs, and I use a GVWR of 6,500lbs as a conservative...

  • Troubleshooting An Open Ground With A GFCI Outlet In A Trailer
  • An open ground is most often caused by the hot and neutral wires being installed in reverse. If you're sure that these two wires are properly installed then the next thing to check would be that the ground wire is properly attached at both the outlet and the panel and that there's no breaks in the wire between these two points. The most likely case is that the old outlet was faulty and needed to be replaced and the wires just got crossed. You can remove the outlet from the wall and remove...
